What is Twitter?

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables users to read and send short messages (up to 140 characters) known as ‘tweets' via the internet. Twitter is a public space on the internet and interaction is publicly viewable.

Why are you using Twitter?
Ipswich Civic Centre  is using Twitter and we invite you to follow us on @theciviccentre.

Ipswich Civic Centre aim to inform the community of what's happening in Ipswich including:

• Upcoming shows, events and activities
• Important news and service updates
• Links to interesting and useful information about what's happening at the Ipswich Civic Centre published on our website and the internet

This Twitter Account is managed by the Ipswich Civic Centre Box Office.

Will the Civic Centre respond to my replies or direct messages?
We will endeavour to reply to your message, however we are not always able to reply individually to all the messages we receive on Twitter. We monitor the Twitter account during business hours only.
