Ipswich City CouncilZing A Cappella
Friday 23 March 2012 7.30pm You'll meet the marvelous women of the Brisbane City Sounds - a competitive a cappella chorus committed to excellence in harmony - and some of their new ‘friends' as they present a celebration of song to honour the savvy, creative nature of the female spirit. Supported by Tim O'Brien and the Brisbane Guitar Collective, and produced by MiaMusic for the Brisbane City Sounds Chorus. Brisbane City Sounds is all about Excellent Harmony - that's why we exist: to create, to share, and to spread Excellent Harmony. A cappella singing is a challenging business and we thrive on hard work. We love learning new songs and perfecting them until they come alive to our audiences in performance. In this concert we share our songs and our vision for a world filled with Excellent Harmony. Brisbane City Sounds believes women are strong, courageous and creative. We are strong when we hold our families together, when we support our communities, and when we defy the past to make a better future. We are courageous when we face new challenges, when we make changes in our lives, when we set a good example for our children. We are creative when we solve impossible problems, when we find new pathways, when we raise our voices together in song. Join us for an evening of passion and joy as we celebrate excellent harmony and the human spirit. |
