The Kursk: An inspiring true story of hope, courage and love.

A Russian submarine mysteriously vanished in August 2000. The wreckage was eventually discovered on the bottom of the ocean with 23 survivors trapped inside. This extraordinary play reveals the true story behind the ill-fated submarine The Kursk. Compelling from beginning to end, the pressure is extreme and the stakes are high. The sailors wait helplessly, trapped 80 metres beneath the sea. On the surface their rescuers work frantically while a young woman waits for her sailor as he writes her love letters while trapped inside The Kursk.

Tin is an ever present but mystical essence in their lives. Harper watches with a child's clear eyes her family's struggle to survive on the hot and impoverished land.
