Ireland’s most famous and successful singing duo, Foster & Allen, are returning to Ipswich. Mick Foster and Tony Allen first toured Australia in 1983 and this will be their 18^th trip ‘Down Under’.

Tickets will be available at the Ipswich Civic Centre Box Office on the night of the show from 6:00pm – 6:45pm.

Guy Sebastian has earned a special place in Australian music history as the Australian male artist with the most number one singles. His recent single Battle Scars (featuring US rapper Lupe Fiasco) debuted at number one on the ARIA singles chart, where it remained for an amazing six consecutive weeks. Concert pianist Anna Goldsworthy’s deeply-felt memoir, Piano Lessons, comes to glorious musical life. Part theatrical production and part concert, Piano Lessons provides insight into the lives and inspirations of the great masters to expose the process of learning, interpreting and creating music.

RING OF FIRE 50^th ANNIVERSARY TOUR

Celebrating the 50^th anniversary of the release of one of Cash’s biggest hits and best loved songs, “Ring of Fire”, Australia’s OWN “Man In Black”, Daniel Thompson, returns with an award-winning ensemble featuring Golden Guitar Winner (Alternate Country Album of the Year – 2013 Golden Guitar Awards) and Australian Guitar Legend, Stuie French.

This two-hour show will feature the tracks that made Johnny Cash’s live show something special. June Carter and The Carter Family, The Statler Brothers, Carl Perkins and Cash’s gospel greats will all be featured in the first half of the show whilst the second set culminates Cash’s biggest hits including his 1963 hit “Ring Of Fire”.

The Sound of Music, with songs written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, the musical book written by the writing team of Howard Lindsay and Russell Crouse, and the screenplay written by Ernest Lehman. Based on the book The Story of the Trapp Family Singers by Maria Von Trapp, the show is about a young woman who leaves an Austrian convent to become a governess to the seven children of a naval officer widower. The Sound of Music contains several popular songs, including “Edelweiss”, My Favorite Things”, Climb Every Mountain”, Do- Re – Mi” Sixteen Going on Seventeen”, The Lonely Goatherd”, and the title song “ The Sound of Music”.

This production is presented by a local Amateur production company who has been producing high standard Musical Theatre productions in Ipswich since 2001.
