A Queensland Theatre Company production By Matthew Ryan

Cowards, murderers or heroes? Life or death?

The new Australian play, Kelly, written by young Queensland Playwright Matthew Ryan, was produced by QTC for their 2012 main stage season. Intimate and compact in design yet a theatrically ambitious drama, which is both contemporary and accessible as it wrestles with themes surrounding one of our country’s greatest historic icons.

This makes for a brilliantly charged premise, explored beautifully on stage in 80 gripping minutes, weaving Kelly fact, theory and myth while exploring masculinity, brotherhood and the dangerous dynamic of mateship. Kelly boasts a brilliant cast of three of Brisbane’s finest actors – led by the Matilda Award winning Steven Rooke who plays Ned Kelly in a powerhouse performance with humour, heart and depth.

This show takes you on a journey through one of the most iconic dancehalls of them all…

The late 1940s to the 1980s saw many social changes within the Australian landscape. None more so than the changes in music, dance and fashion.

The Saturday Night Dance was the norm and involved an evening of live music and social dancing. The venues were majestic and played host to a multitude of iconic national and international acts.

You can also dance on the dance floor during the show in front of the bandstand just as you would have done at the original Cloudland. A show for your eyes, ears and feet.

First 50 Tickets buyers will get a Free Program on the night.

As well as maintaining his huge touring schedule in 2015, Dave has returned to national drive radio with Kate Langbroek on Mix FM.

This masterpiece ballet is presented in three acts and follows the original storyline. Subtle revisions and variations have been introduced by Gediminas Taranda, Artistic Director of the Imperial Russian Ballet Company.

Swan Lake crosses the world of magic and mystical creatures with that of the real world. It is a story where the virtues of love and forgiveness in the end conquer evil and betrayal.
