Featuring Gordon Southern, Bron Lewis, and local comedian Chemark Rehder
Gordon Southern is the international word clown. A stand up favourite across Europe and Australasia, he’s performed in over 30 countries. He is also one of most critically acclaimed comedians at the Edinburgh Fringe, having performed over a dozen solo shows there.
He is a regular at many top clubs including the famous London Comedy Store.
A talented actor and award winning writer with critical acclaim for numerous projects that he has worked on, Southern has written for some of the most memorable comedy shows of the last decade. Deliberately stranded in Adelaide by Covid in 2020 he’s cementing his reputation as one of the best live acts currently working in Australia, headlining their biggest clubs in each state.
Gordon is a regular headlining comedian on UK and International circuit, spending several months every year performing in Australia. A highly regarded international act, he’s worked in dozens of exotic locations, with highlights including selling out a 700 seat theatre with a solo show in Mumbai, India.
He’s headlined the first ever Serbian comedy festival, and has regularly topped the bill in Singapore, Dubai, Australia, New Zealand and throughout Europe. Gordon made his Edinburgh debut in the highly respected Comedy Zone in 1997 and has since gone on to take up several successful and acclaimed solo shows which have been nominated for awards in Edinburgh, Dubai, Perth (twice) and New Zealand (twice)
He has enjoyed sell out runs at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival from 2011- 2015. Gordon also has a time out comedy award from his days with BBC Radio 4’s Cheese Shop comedy sketch team. As an MC he’s played all over the world including a residency at Edinburgh’s notorious “Late N Live” since 2011.
Bron Lewis is one of Australia’s most promising new comedians. She was the co-winner of the National Raw Comedy competition in 2022, a four-time champion of the Moth storytelling competition, and both the best and the worst mum living at her house. Bron is a writer at The Project and has a prominent presence on stages all around the country. Bron’s critically acclaimed show ‘Probably’ sold out in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane, and it scored her a nomination for Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s ‘Best Newcomer’ for 2023.
“Lewis has a skilful, natural delivery, in control of her material and holding the audience rapt without seeming to make an effort..” Chortle
“Hilarity and humanity – a joy to behold.” Sammy J
“Bron is the whole package: smart, relatable, hilarious and adorable. It shouldn’t be allowed.” Ellen Briggs
My name is Chemark Rehder II. I’m just a young cocky guy that enjoys entertaining and making people laugh. I got into comedy, because I am a proud Papua New Guinean and I love sharing stories about my culture and people to others.
