MC comedian Anthony Lamond, brings comedy to Ipswich in the monthly Stitch in the ‘swich series.

 

MARK SIMMONS

Mark is an exceptional one-liner comedian. It won him a place in Dave’s prestigious Best Joke of The Fringe in Edinburgh 2017. His solo show at the festival, One-Linerer was also a huge hit, with sell out shows every day and was nominated Best Show by the Amused Moose Comedy Award Fringe Show 2017. He then continued this success with his follow-up show, One-Linererer, which was also a sell out!

Mark is constantly on the rise and since being in the finals of several noteworthy competitions, such as Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year, So You Think You’re Funny and the NATY Award, he has been in high demand for the top UK comedy clubs, such as Glee, Manford’s Comedy Club, Comedy Central and Just The Tonic, headlining the majority of them. Also, he has been recently supporting Seann Walsh, Rob Beckett and Rob Brydon on their national tours, as well as one off shows supporting Michael McIntyre, Sean Lock and Jack Dee.

 

DANIEL HOLT

Daniel Holt is a fresh new comic who originally hails from the faraway land of Sheffield, England. After bringing the laughs on one side of the world, Daniel is here to make a statement in the land down under. In his short time performing in Brisbane, he has become a regular on the scene, even starting his own comedy night All Gravy Comedy Club. Daniel featured on the Best of British show at Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival 2021 as well as The British Invasion shows at Melbourne International comedy festival 2022. Daniel also won the Crowd Control Comedy Competition, April 2022.

Daniel has performed at The Sydney and Melbourne fringe festival 2022 performing on the Best of British, best of the fest and the international comedy gala. In August 2022 Daniel toured farNorth Queensland hosting 9 back to back nights. Daniel has also toured his own sell out show Quintessentially Brit(ish) around Australia. Recently Daniel has just come back from Cairn’s hosting shows for the legendary Luke Kidgell. Coming from mixed heritage both Indian and English, this comedian will intrigue you with his unique perspective on life and dysfunctional family stories.
