Calling all ladies, calling all gentlemen… join us for the race that stops the nation.

This November we are pleased to play host to the inaugural Ipswich Civic Centre Melbourne Cup Luncheon and invite you to join us for this premier event.

With sparkling wine on arrival, the festivities of the day will be kicked off by our comical MC, Lindsay Webb, and include light entertainment, a show-stopping performance by Raw Metal and an exclusive fashion parade presented by Pam Tamblyn of Tamblyn Models.

The four dancers of Australia’s Raw Metal push dance to the outer limits, combining traditional tap dance with innovative street rhythms and astonishing feats of athleticism. Like Fred Astaire in Zero G, they move with fearless grace. You will love grooving along with the medley of classic funk and soul numbers that feeds the innovative choreography.

A percussive a-capella number using phone greetings will delight in its simplicity yet cleverness.  The four young energetic guys in
Raw Metal deliver a heart stopping performance every time.

Enjoy an exquisite 3-course meal accompanied by a variety of beer, wine and soft drinks, and watch the race on the big screen.
