Ipswich Civic Centre presents Ipswich Has Comic Talent – The Workshop

We know that Ipswich Has Comic Talent. So we roped in the pros to help us unearth it.

Brisbane comedian Kat Davidson is bringing her expertise to Ipswich with a stand-up comedy course.

With experience teaching QUT actors the art of stand-up and guiding corporate clients in public speaking, Kat offers a dynamic and engaging workshop designed to boost confidence and creativity. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from a talented comedian and skilled instructor!

The one-day-intensive course will guide you through the process from absolute beginner to performing your first stand up set , from writing your first piece of material to your debut performance.

Then, after a couple of weeks of rehearsing and refining your set at home, put your practice into play and jump on stage at Ipswich has Comic Talent- The Show to perform your graduation routine!

The workshops are free and open to ages 15+.

Please note that attending and performing at the Graduation Performance is a part of the Workshop. The graduation performance will take place on Saturday 25 October 2025.
