Studio 188, Nicholas Hargreaves, Timothy Wynn and Luke Volker present…

“Flight!” a new musical by Nicholas Hargreaves exploring misremembered figures from aviation history, such as Jacques Charles; who flew the first hot air balloon, and Kongming; credited with inventing Chinese lanterns. The heart of the show is astronaut Sally Ride, as she meets her aviation heroes while coming to terms with her own success.

Following an intensive creative development, this showcase will be the world premiere of many of the show’s exciting new songs and scenes in celebration of aviation history. Presented as part of Ipswich’s Planes, Trains and Autos Festival

Direction – Timothy Wynn.
Music Direction – Luke Volker.

Featuring a post showcase Q + A with the creative team.

Recommended for ages 13+
