SHOW CANCELLED – After listening to feedback from choir members, consultation with Ipswich Civic Centre and Ipswich City Council, and potential risk to our audience members, it is with heavy hearts that we have decided to cancel the Showcase Concert this Sunday 22 March due to current public health concerns. Whilst we might strictly meet the current criteria for the event to proceed, we have a deep sense of community and desire to not increase the current health risk to patrons.
Join Ipswich’s longest-running choral organisation as they showcase their preparations for the Queensland Eisteddfod.
The defending champions, the Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir, are joined by the Cambrian Show Choir, Cambrian Youth Choir, Junior Cambrian Choir and Coro Concorde for this performance, hosted by Matthew Hickey, former choir member and founding member of the Ten Tenors.
