Presented by Ipswich City Orchestra and Ipswich Civic Centre

Dance the night away to the music of Johann Strauss, the Waltz King, and pretend it is New Year’s Eve in the splendid ballroom of an Austrian Palace.

Enjoy waltzes, polkas and music from this fabulous romantic era, enhanced by the presence of Hannah Dahlenburg who returns to Ipswich from Berlin. Hannah will sing Franz Lehar’s Vilia and other beautiful songs from this time in history. This will be Hannah’s second appearance with Ipswich City Orchestra (ICO), after her highly acclaimed performance in 2015’s The Fairy Tale Gala.

There will be singers and entertainment for all to enjoy between dance segments where dancers will swirl around to the glorious music.

Patrick Burns will also return from the United Kingdom to conduct ICO in this first ever Viennese Ball in Ipswich. Be sure to dress in your finest for this remarkable black tie event.

7.00 pm – 7.30 pm doors will open and the evening commences with a glass of complimentary sparkling wine on arrival and canapés.

7. 30 pm let the dancing begin!

The Bar and Stars Café will be open from 7.00 pm throughout the evening for purchases; full bar service and tapas and share platters will be available.

A mixture of small café tables, stand-alone chairs, and dry bars will be set around the perimeter of the room for people to occupy in between dances.
