The Avalon swing performers live amongst the gypsy tribes of South East Qld. A rough and tumble world not far from here. Take heed as Avalon Swing pass themselves off as Gentry and have been known to say “We are an art deco inspired celebration of acoustic swing music. We bring a bit of Gatsby and a dash of bohemian gypsy“.

While known to perform pieces from Django Reinhardt’s gypsy jazz playlist, the American songbook, and the jazz standards of the swing dance era. Caution should be exercised at all time amongst this small band of performers. It’s all a front to lift the your spirit, lighten you of your wallet while distracting with a brilliant vibe

The Acoustic Swing Group, are inspired by the great swing era. While they usually perform with two swinging guitarist a vocalist, an amazing Electronic Wind player, a pumping bass fiddler and snare this time they have added at your expense a hot gypsy violinist.
