Bad Spenny

Bad Spenny is a group of Queensland Conservatorium graduates that play modern Jazz compositions by the group leader, Spencer Wilson, a born and raised member of Ipswich.

They focus their performance around group improvisation, dynamic groove shifts, and emotional melodies.

Bad Spenny’s compositions all come from a story; some significant and personal, others are based on silly interactions with others, and some are simply based on discovering a new sound.

The mission of Bad Spenny is to create a brand new, and captivating, musical story for everyone listening whenever they play together.
