Chris Cook sings Johnny Cash, Slim Dusty, George Jones, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard and other country greats.

Backed by his band, Chris presents a mixture of traditional and modern, fast and slow country classics. He plays songs from his extensive (almost limitless) repertoire – many country songs, both popular and obscure, but all well worth listening to.

Songs are interspersed with highly polished country banjo classics and a variety of interesting fast and furious and sometimes hauntingly beautiful fiddle tunes and waltzes.

This combination of instrumental variety and excellence, popular old-time and rock ‘n roll dance music plus Chris’ ability to engage and relate to his audience; creates this enjoyable, entertaining, and high energy Big Country Show.
