SHOW CANCELLED – update 24 March 2022

It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of Cambrian Showcase 2022. As is happening in the community, our members too, across all choirs, have been testing positive to COVID. To allow those members more recovery time and to minimise any further spread, the decision has been made to cancel the event.  We take the health and wellbeing of our members seriously and that is paramount in any decisions we make. The Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir apologies for this inconvenience. We are planning a post-eisteddfod concert instead, on 1 May, and hope you can join us at that time. Change of Venue – update 17 March 2022
Unfortunately due to impacts from the recent weather event temporarily closing the Ipswich Civic Centre, the Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir Showcase 2022 is unable to go ahead as planned at Ipswich Civic Centre. Fortunately this show is able to proceed with a change of venue to Cityhope Church, 7 Rex Hills Drive, Ripley. Ticketing will now be managed directly through Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir Inc and the link is provided. Ipswich Civic Centre will be cancelling and refunding all current tickets. We apologise for the change of venue, and thank you for your understanding during this time.  We hope that you will still be able to enjoy the amazing performances of the Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choirs.

Join Ipswich’s longest-running choral organisation as they showcase their preparations for the Queensland Eisteddfod.

The reigning champion choirs, the Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir and the Cambrian Youth Choir, will perform with the Cambrian Show Choir, the Junior Cambrian Choir and Coro Concorde, bringing together the 5 choirs of the Cambrian family.
