From Campfire to Stage Light – Sunday 30 June 2024 – PAST EVENT
An epic journey toward self-determination and Indigenous pride, as told through the life experience of David Bindi Hudson, well-known and loved cultural leader and global ambassador for Indigenous Australia. David is the ultimate storyteller, singer-songwriter, dancer, visual artist and actor and the performance is brought to life through storytelling, songs, and extraordinary visual design.

Indigenous Spotlight Shorts – Thursday 11- Friday 12 July 2024
To celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024, Studio Shorts is partnering up with Flickerfest to screen their collection of exceptional indigenous short films. Screening over two nights at Studio 188, Indigenous Spotlight Shorts, highlights and celebrates the best First Nations creatives in front of and behind the camera.

The Sunshine Club –  Saturday 24 August 2024
Set in 1946, the joyful and acclaimed musical The Sunshine Club, tells the story of Aboriginal soldier Frank Doyle, who is just returning home to Brisbane after serving in WW2, to find that, while the world may have changed, the same attitudes and prejudices still exist at home. But this only fills Frank with a strong desire to change things for the better by setting up The Sunshine Club.

Waru – journey of the small turtle – Friday 25 October 2024
In Bangarra’s first dedicated work for children, join our heroine Migi as she undertakes a journey of discovery and survival. A contemporary saltwater Lagaw Kazil (Island Children) story inspired by the totemic system of the green turtle, Waru – journey of the small turtle is an interactive and immersive introduction to Torres Strait Islander culture and dance for 3–7-year-olds.
