Hip Hip Horray! The Ipswich Civic Centre is turning 50 and you’re invited to the hippest birthday celebration to hit Ipswich Central since 1975.

Join us for a massive celebration starring hundreds of local community members for a one-night, joyous and heart-warming birthday party to be remembered.

From big bands, to choirs, show tunes and rock songs, this event is a genre bending, hugely fun, all-inclusive celebration.

An ode to her glorious past and an anthem for the future audiences can expect a mix of their favourites alongside the unexpected at this surprising and delightful birthday party starring hundreds of local Hipswich legends.

This event is commissioned by Ipswich Civic Centre and is proudly created and produced by Everybody NOW! in collaboration with the community of Ipswich.

‘Hipswich’ is inspired by the original song of the same name written by Jesse Carmona from Ipswich City Big Band.
