Special Guest Dennis Knight: Australia’s King of Rock and Roll

Award-winning entertainer, John McSweeney will return in 2017 with his band and special guest Dennis Knight.

Much loved by country music fans across Australia, John McSweeney has firmly established himself as an all-round entertainer and has appeared with major acts such as Charlie Pride, Slim Whitman, Peter, Paul and Mary, Daniel O’Donnell, Jon English and Marcia Hynes.

His reputation is further enhanced by his ability to play not only guitar but also saxophone, clarinet, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and drums.

Dennis Knight is completely dedicated to Rock ‘n’ Roll. This passion has led to working with some of the biggest names in Rock ‘n’ Roll history including Roy Orbison, The Big Bopper, Johnny O’Keefe (J.O.K.), and the Bee Gees.

In the late 60’s Dennis recorded Every Breath I Take with the backing of the Bee Gees which led to many great achievements including two Gold albums for sales in excess of $80,000 and winning the Queensland Entertainer Of The Year award five times in succession.
