Step back in time while celebrating the music of today at Post Modern Cabaret – Modern Meets Vintage, a spectacular evening of jazz, swing and reimagined contemporary favourites.

Featuring the dazzling Vintage Belles alongside The Knockout Collective, this unique concert pays tribute to Ipswich’s rich brass band heritage while embracing the timeless appeal of vintage-inspired music. For more than a century, brass bands have been at the heart of Ipswich’s cultural identity. From the city’s early days through to the present, these ensembles have filled parks, halls and community spaces with music, bringing people together through competitions, concerts and cherished traditions.

Inspired by the lively Saturday afternoon performances once held in Queens Park’s iconic bandstands, this event aims to recapture that sense of community, nostalgia and live entertainment.

Expect beloved jazz and swing classics alongside modern hits transformed into vintage masterpieces in the style of Postmodern Jukebox.
