The 80th Annual Music Eisteddfod

The Ipswich Junior Eisteddfod Society Inc plays a major role in the Ipswich Arts sector having commenced in 1945 and in 2026 we are thrilled to celebrate our 80^th Eisteddfod.

From the novice to experienced performers this Eisteddfodau encourages healthy competition across vocal, piano and instrumental genres.

We offer performers the chance to compete in solo and group / ensemble sections with prize money given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places. Other awards offering monetary and trophy prizes include Bursaries, Aggregate, Awards of Excellence and Encouragement Awards. This year we are delighted to also have special 80^th Year Celebration Awards and Prizemoney.

Our goal is to ensure that the children of Ipswich and surrounding areas have the opportunity to perform in a friendly and supportive environment.

All are welcome to attend and enjoy the performances.
