We regret to inform you that the promotors of The Velvet Lounge originally scheduled for Saturday 12 February 2022 at Ipswich Civic Centre, have had to postpone this performance due to the ongoing COIVD-19 situation – This show has been rescheduled for Saturday 1 October 2022.

Singer/songwriter, Carole Williams, announces her new show The Velvet Lounge.

This show brings a soul-filled, powerful collection of songs in a quirky, seductive, dark comedy that breaks all the rules.

Carole wrote The Velvet Lounge during lockdown in Brisbane, Australia.

“During lockdown I was lucky to collaborate online with Ben Folds who was also in lockdown in Sydney. Having the time to write is a luxury and I am really excited to perform The Velvet Lounge now in front of a live audience.”

The Velvet Lounge showcases Carole Williams as a true and unique artist who has reinvented timeless classics to give them a modern unique twist.

Accompanied by some of Brisbane’s top musicians, Williams will entertain patrons with outstanding vocals, clever costuming, dialogue and artistry.
