Ipswich Civic Centre presents…

The Westside Scramble is an informal space where local creatives, artists, community members, neighbours can gather, share ideas, make connections and collaborations. It is a chance to exchange and expand on ideas, to start conversations. It is a platform to perform and experiment on stage, to play and cultivate experience. It’s an open-door policy, everyone is welcome to Scramble.

If you have something you’d like to present, we’d love to hear from you.

Stelle* Single Launch of “Strangers Again”

Scenic Rim rising star “Stelle” was given a dora microphone for her 3rd birthday and hasn’t stopped singing since. Writing songs since the age of 6, the passion she has for song writing has inspired others to be open to a new world through her music.

With 4 releases so far, including her newest to be released on 23 May, “Strangers again,” Stelle’s diverse musical style of indie-pop/ rock as well as intertwining elements of folk, emulates the likes of Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Rodrigo, Avril Lavinge, Missy Higgins and many more artists.

At 19-years old, Stelle aspires to keep releasing music with captivating melodies, stunning harmonies and heartfelt lyrics.

Plans fashioned at The Westside Scramble could lead to opportunities, where local creatives apply to Hatchery 4305, the creative development incubator program. Through the program, successful applicants will have full access to Studio 188 for a 2 week block to develop their practice, work on new material acuminating with a community presentation or commercial outcome.
