WE WILL ROCK YOU, the global smash-hit seen by over 17 million people, is coming to the Ipswich Civic Centre this September.
This high-octane rock musical combines the stadium hits of rock legends Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hammer to Fall and many more) alongside the mischievous pen of writer Ben Elton (Blackadder, Young Ones).
Set in a globalized future where music was banned long before, the story follows Galileo and Scaramouche along with a handful of rock rebels, the Bohemians, as they fight against the all-powerful tyrant and leader of the Globalsoft Corporation, Killer Queen, and her henchman. In their quest to fulfill the ‘prophecy’, they save rock and roll and discover the power of individuality.
With a live professional rock band on stage and a cast of 32 accomplished performers, this post-apocalyptic comedy will have you rocking out of your seats.
